About
About the Artist
I am a watercolor artist with an academic and professional background in architecture. I have painted all of my life, but, more seriously over the last 14 years thanks to the encouragement from my husband. I did not start selling my paintings until a friend insisted, pressured and encouraged me to accept a commission from him. He wanted for me to do a painting of his house with the cat in the window for his wife's birthday. Since then I have been accepting commissions and showing my artwork.
One thing that is consistent in my paintings is the use of bright colors. In my current work, I continue to explore capturing glowing sunlight and its' affect on objects. I hope to achieve glowing luminosity in my paintings that sings to you you.

About Giclée
Giclée is a fine art digital print. These prints are made using fade-resistant, archival inks (pigment based, as well as newer solvent based inks) on acid free 100% cotton rag paper. These are limited edition collectable prints which are signed, numbered and dated by hand by Liana Yarckin.

The paintings you see on this website are for sale unless otherwise marked. When you purchase a painting or a giclee you are buying the physical work of art. However, the copyright - which is the right to copy or reproduce the image itself - is retained by the artist. If you wish to make copies of the image for any reason you must first obtain written permission from the artist and acquire a license for reproductions. Payment and Shipping
Payment can be made by credit card, PayPal, personal check or money order. Checks and money orders require about ten days for the funds to clear the bank. Shipping information must be provided at the time of payment.
